Rose Bowl Stadium

A Landmark

Every New Year’s Day, the Tournament of Roses football game draws national attention. This bowl game brings visitors and outdoor activities, including the Rose Parade.

On Orange Grove Boulevard, thousands of spectators line the 5.5-mile route that quickly heads east along Colorado Boulevard. The parade features marching bands, community groups, and intricate floral parade floats.

The 1922 Rose Bowl Stadium is located in Brookside Park and Golf Course. Modern renovations have made this landmark memorable.

Aside from the Rose Bowl, the stadium hosts hundreds of events each year. The R.G. Canning Flea Market is said to be the world’s largest. Rose Bowl Stadium hosts concerts, 4th of July celebrations, and UCLA football games.
