The Huntington Estate
Henry Huntington owned this huge estate. This collection of gardens, cultural institutions, and artwork is now a public space.
The 207-acre estate has nicely kept gardens. Every inch welcomes art, garden, architecture, and casual observers. The trail map from the entry kiosks is useful for any visit.
In April, the three-acre Rose Garden is especially colorful. Along the journey, guests pass through a stunning California Garden with 50,000 natural plants.
This portion of the park has 16 themed gardens in total. Garden of Flowing Fragrance features a 1.5-acre lake and traditional Chinese architecture. The park has an amazing bonsai collection.
